Water Baptism
“Baptism is an outward expression of the inner change of life. We believe in water baptism as Jesus himself obeyed the command for all to be baptized (Luke 3:21).
The word “Baptize” means ‘to immerse’. We believe in full immersion under the water, representing preceding the old life and embracing the new life in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
We receive water baptism in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit and it is to be done voluntarily (Matthew 28:19).
Baptism is not a condition for salvation. It is a declaration that you no longer live in death with no hope but now you are a child of God living with eternal hope and everlasting life (Romans 6:4).”
